Freddie Mercury Opinions Please.
This Freddie Mercury autograph was given to me as a gift a few years back. The older friend, and an experienced autograph collector,had it in his possession from his sister, who got this signed in person, as he told me. I have no reason to believe he was lying.
I have to sell in unfortunately and I was either going to send it to PSA/JSA first, because I know many buyers/bidders will claim it to be fake, etc. I decided to put it on eBay instead and within a few hours, received a message claiming it was 110% fake. I truly do not believe this to be the case, but decided to take it down to eventually send to PSA/JSA when I get the extra $100, to make sure.
I wanted to ask for everyones opinion on this item. The sister wrote when and where it was obtained. At this time, I do have it matted and framed. Any opinions are welcome, but I will still eventually send it to PSA/JSA. Thanks guys! I have seen many examples on google etc....which are VERY similar to what I have,

Adrian, so far your story has taken many turns. First you claim you saw it backstage being signed but admit you have no proof. Then you claim you got in via a roadie (who according to you didn't work for Queen) which means you would have had to have made some plans to meet this friend before the queen show to get you in to meethe the band. Meaning you'd have time to get a camera or photo taken. You had enough knowledge to know to bring an album for them to "sign"since your roadie friend got you in, but never thought to bring a camera? Odd. Even more strange is that now all of a sudden when we ask for this roadies full name to fact check with 2 actual Queen roadies, you cannot provide anything other than simply "Alan". Adrian, the jig is up. There are far too many hoes in your story and your item is a poor fake to begin with. Please stop with this. It's getting very sad.

not supporting Adrian, but there is nothing illogical bout NOT bringing a camera to a 1982 concert-they were expensive, big, etc. And your claims to know roadies is as unproven as Adrians.

Sling, very simply put- literally any and every Queen fan has access to those 2 roadies. If you have internet access, you have a line of communication with them Chris is very active on Facebook and still attends Queen conventions and Peter runs his own website with the option to contact him via email to which he responds to. It's as easy as turning on your computer. They also meet fans at Queen exhibits. Peter Freestone who was Freds PA is the same way. Very active online and meets fans at almost all convetions. There's nothing hard about contacting any of them. As for the camera, I myself had a a snapshot Polaroid and no, it wasn't too crazy to assume someone would bring one with them or have a photo taken. Also, the camera issue was far from my only problem with his story.

did not know of easy access to Roadies-good summary. Regarding cameras, certainly many brought them to 82 shows, but the majority did not-including me-they were expensive-tickets were expensive for teens, transportation. remember, back them teens- to 20 year olds were the primary attendees of stadium shows-today its middle aged folks for most part who have money

Just get on Facebook and look up Chris Taylor. He use to help run the Offcial International Queen Fan Club Facebook page with Jacky Smith who runs the actual fan club. He's always on there. As for Hince, that guy has a page of his own. Look him up. He sells his book through there and prints of his photography. He also sells queen memorabilia he saved over the years. He still has items from video shoots and so on.
