This is fake imo

Had a feeling. Seller is looking for €500... lol anyways would you have any idea on how much a fully signed 'The Works' album might by worth?

Terrible fake. Fully signed item depends on what it's signed on, what year, how legible the signatures are. An item signed on only white paper with just their names only shouldn't be more than $800 as it could've been traced. An item signed on an album could go for much more.

It's an album signed in 1984. Would it be possible to PM you images of the album and tell me what you think?

Sure. I'm happy to help.

Here's images of the Queen Album

I've taken the time to discuss this album with a few good friends of mine in the queen collecting world, and they all seem to agree not genuine. Well, either not genuine or "undecided". But no genuine responses as of yet. Still waiting to hear from a big collector friend on his thoughts. But that Freddie seems to be damning.

Thanks for all the help Innuendo! It really is appreciated! I really thought they might have a chance as the story seemed legit and he's selling off a lot of other autographs he has collected in person, which from my experience seemed to all check out. Quite annoyed at the seller if they do turn out to not be genuine as he had me convinced although I should have known better!

No problem, and don't worry, as there still IS a chance of them genuine. It could be that they are just incredibly rushed....though in my 30 years of Queen autograph hunting, I've never seen a mercury look like that even rushed. BUT it could just be a real one off...I'll let you know what my friend says when he writes back. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Just heard back, and after looking at the photos, he says he can't say genuine or fake. It's another for the "unsure" vote. He says it stands a chance at being real since this album cover was a bit glossy, thus making for a harder time signing which could explain the mercury and may but honestly, we don't know. It's got some 3 unsure votes and about 4 not genuine votes among them. No genuine votes. The more I study it, and the more I discuss with them, I'm beginning to lean toward maybe a rushed genuine item. They all have something wrong with them, but they all also have at least 1 genuine trait as well so it's a toss up. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but take some comfort in knowing it does stand a chance!
Freddie's looks good to me. That kind of butterfly style is not very usual before 1987 but I've seen some genuine signatures from 86 85 signing exactly like that. That Mercury is short.... but again it's not the first time we see short genuine Mercurys. For me genuine signed lp from 1985-86

Thanks for the reply Fran! If genuine, how much would a piece like this be valued at/sell for?
