Could be worth a pretty penny depending on if there authentic and how well they’ve been preserved, any photos of it? I, sure a few members can give a an estimate on what something like your item is worth if they can see it

I know that book! Love it, and glad you're not breaking it up.

Members can see it in the Star Wars group on FB:

How many pages is it? Could you please post all the pages in order so we can see who's in it and how they're presented. Are pages signed on both sides?

I love this book. I think that a good number of SW collectors will consider it quite desirable.

Hello Steve , pam wont be seperating the book , will be whole  , trying to get pictures to let you see but she works night shift long hrs so will try to get pictures at the weekend

“Thank the Maker.”

Great news. Yes, at her convenience. Large sharp photos are best.

What is the status of this discussion?  Was it moved to SWAU on Facebook?  I do not have a Facebook account.

I think he’s taking more photos. I mention the Facebook group because photos weren't uploaded at that time and he had a few there.

That’s not our group. It's a separate one Star Wars.

The group on Facebook thought he should take the book apart if he could. That was rather horrifying to me! The book should stay as one wonderful piece of Star s history, even though it won’t display well and can’t be framed up.

That would be terrible.  That suggestion could only have come from superficial collectors, and not from the serious collectors who formed that particular Facebook group.  Thanks, Steve.

There are very serious collectors in that group, and all but a few that commented saw no reason for it to be kept intact.

That surprises me.  It is a piece of Star Wars history.  It reminds me of what was done to Washington Irving’s manuscript of A History of the Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus.  Or sending a Babe Ruth bat through a wood chipper for baseball cards.  Then again, maybe I am taking Star Wars too seriously.
