I was just wondering what everyone’s experiences and thoughts on Garry King was in regards to Beatles autographs. I’ve only recently come across him and he seems a real nice guy and will give details on his views, which is refreshing.

really honest and nice guy.  Quite happy to share his knowledge

Garry is a longtime friend and really cares about collectors. He's pointed out forgeries to me that were quite hard to detect. And he was the first person to point out a machine-signed autograph that was subtly altered from a genuine one and signed in pen: a 1992-3 Dylan. It could fool almost anyone unless you saw the original.

Is he respected when it comes to authenticating Beatles autographs?

The top Beatles expert is Frank Caiazzo of BeatlesAutographs.com. And among the top are Paul Wane and Justin Cornthwaite of Tracks, and Roger Epperson of SignedSealedDelivered. Roger does authentication, including online opinions for $15. RogerEpperson.com
