This is real. Matches his signature as he got older. And I've never seen secretarial sits on his letters.

Thanks so much Edward. Ended up purshasing it.

Congratulations, Clay! Truman was a great president. He has been called the "accidental" president by some historians because when Roosevelt chose Truman to be his Vice President, most Americans except in Kansas and Missouri didn't even know who he was. And when Roosevelt died after only a month into his fourth term, suddenly Americans had a president whose name they barely even knew. Truman was from Kansas City, specifically Independence, Missouri which is a suburb of Kansas City which is where I am from (on the Kansas side). And in Kansas, we claim Dwight Eisenhower, who was born in Texas, but moved to Kansas at age 2. Ike is buried in Abilene, Kansas. Texas tried to claim Ike, but he refuted the Texans, and said he was a Kansas boy through and through. These are two more autographs I need to get. And we soon might have another president. Tim Kaine grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, and his parents and brothers still live here.
