Have you guys heard of canadagraphs?
They have several once upon a time cast members and a signed picture with multiple cast members.

I would like to say to one and all let's end this debate no winners no loosers just loads of pasionate people trying to protect the autograph game.
It's now time to move on to another thread maybe one that can actually use all your passion and dedication.

My only concern with Ryan is, most you guys say how he is right usually etc.
How can you be sure he was now? I have NO DOUBT on whatever genre of autographs he does frequently do, he is "pretty good"....but he was willing to stick his nose into a case he admitted he doesn't know, came up with "proof" to "out" someone on an item he admitted he didn't know the signatures of, and when the person responded back with a several paragraph post explaining how his handwriting analysis was abysmally wrong, ignored it....for about 10 pages, before he finally threw in the towel sort of.
On a side note. Something EVERYONE on this board should take to heart is 2 things.
1- if you DO NOT KNOW the item in question, don't comment. ONLY comment if you actually have something to compare it to that you unquestionably know the authenticity of because you physically got it yourself. Plain & simple.
- side note to that, also take into consideration when the item was signed in comparison to yours. If theres a 5,10,20 yr difference, accept the potential chance your item may not have weight on the particular piece in question as peoples graphs condense, get longer, rounder, sharper as years go on. Also where was it obtained. An IP autograph at the hotel with 3 people compared to at a venue/red carpet with 1200 people, even if only 10 mins apart, are going to look incredibly different 95% of the time.
2- Actually learn what a difference/similarity is in handwriting. Ryans example was abysmal. Not just on my item, but his collage as well. So in my short experience with him, hes shown me TWO failed attempts at analyzing handwriting, and you all want me to believe hes "usually right"?If I were you guys, I would have questions about anything hes ever analyzed after seeing this job torn apart. Like I said, maybe in the field of whatever he collects hes better, I know I would be, but he proved to me, he is quite easily mistaken, often. He drew 9 or 10 circles on 1 item insisting they were the same person, despite none of those characteristics actually being similar outside of the letter (in some cases) that he circled. Some were rounder, some had wider curves, some had sharper points, but he didn't LOOK at them, he just saw they were "about the same" and went no further in his analysis. He then did a collage, where outside of 2 Js, 1 I know is a Joel Kinnaman, his examples were again not even close, like horribly bad. If he is basing his findings simply on "sort of close" he is likely wrong A LOT. Theres only so many ways to write a J, or a D, or an L or a P, and he literally just looked for ones that were done in a similar style, and never actually looked at the details of the letter.
Anyways, unless someone has an ACTUAL question or point to bring up...may I recommend this thread closed & people move on to whatever topics they are familiar with?
Anyways, I am done with this thread, UNLESS anyone else has questions, actual questions.

John, you also stated that you thought "interesting how they all slant to the right" after we brought it up, you had just not noticed it. Noting observations that look off on anything autograph wise is an observation worth noting--whether someone knows the actual autographs of the people on it or not.
As far as us rethinking our thoughts on Ryan, you do your homework this time, and start reviewing his past observations. Ryan IS correct 99.9999999 percent of the time, and all of us who know him, have no doubt about this. Heck you even looked at a thread he did using those blasted circles you don't like, and you stated for the record "While I agree with your analysis of that threads seller...." Do you agree with him because he's correct on it - or ??? You might also want to look up Carl Ryan (whom you insist is Ryan). You'll see that they have completely opposite tastes in autographs. And again - everyone here that knows them, knows this.

Canadagraphs - I know this will be hard for you but just give up on this one, it isnt worth your energy. Anyone who knows you in real life knows that there is no way that you are faking any autographs, period. All these people can say whatever they want, but the fact is that we know many people on this board in real life. These people are just trying to help the hobby, nothing wrong with that, but when it comes down to it, anyone on here trying to buy autographs is not a real hound and never met a celebrity or a hound in real life. People who fake autographs are horrible human beings that should be brought to justice, cyber justice too. But they think you are doing these autographs youself, just let them think that and move on. I for one have better things to do then read this thread, I won't be posting about it anymore although it was a good read. See you in September John.

AFter reading through all of this, it seems that Canadagraphs probably is a legit guy. So me wanting to see his 200 Gretsky items was premature, and he deserves an apology for that. Sorry Canadagraphs for doubting your other items. However, i actually do know something about OUAT signatures. So the comments that some have made about needing to know signatures before commenting on them, is quite unfounded. If i comment on a thread, its either b/c i have knowledge on that signature, or the signatures are so bad (ex: the horrid Mantle forgeries exposed by Ryan and Chris Williams) that its obviosu what the call is. I also like to chime in on threads where the forgers are attacking the people exposing them.
But in this instance, i actually am quite familiar with Jennifer G, Meghan, and Jennifer M's signatures. And a vague familiarity with several others. I have seen numerous OUAT posters before. And while im not a fan of the show, i am a fan of Jennifer G. Of all the posters i have seen signed, where there was rock solid proof of there authenticty, they never looked anything like the example above. They were sloppy, the clarity of the signature lines was all over the place (thickness, pressure) and the signatures were signed in all sorts of angles and ways. My experience is that with movie posters, stars dont really care where they sign, they just sign, even at sit downs. The only time they seem to get the sigs all lined up in the same direction are at paid conventions, and even then its off. But thats a moot point, b/c the conditions under which it was signed, or what angle all teh signatures are in, arent that big of a deal. The thing that stands out to me, is that on at least half the signatures, the letter formation, upstroke an downstrokes were all fashioned in the same manner. Several letter formations are almost identical. I have looked over many many signed posters, and quite a few legit OUAT posters, and i have never seen striking similariites between signatures like i have with this poster. I havent checked out any other of canadagraphs items, nor do i know if he is connected with outlawhobbies. I am assuming not. But my opinion on this item is still what it was, i think its no good. And i would stay away from this one. But that is just my opinion.
In addition, its pretty obvious im not Ryan. Ryan is a baseball guy as Wascher says. I do not have but maybe 2 or 3 baseball autographs in my collection and dont have really any interest in it. I collect music, and some actors, and thats it. As far as jumping in and using a "gang mob" mentality against Canadagraphs. I would argue that to anyone. The first reply from Canadagraphs, along with my own suspicions about this OUAT psoter, and Ryans analysis started to lead down a road we have all seen before. But Canadagraphs cleared his name and despite a convincing photo lineup, Canadagraphs looks like a legit seller and not assocaited with the major poster forgers up north or in the states. I think Ryan did a great job of analyzing thigns, and as Fudd says, Canadagraphs did a good job clearing up things. But i still stand by my opinion that the poster is no good.

It's actually an 8x10 photo, I read "poster" somewhere in the beginning of the thread and I made the mistake of also calling it a poster. Do you feel though that your opinion would change on the item now knowing its an 8x10?

Carl - do you mean Ginnifer Goodwin when you say Jennifer G ?
If you do I took a look at outlaws . They have 56 currntly listed . For the most part they all look ok . If you see any that you dont think look right. I can see if there is something funny about them . Also I got Goodwin at the airport along with a few other cast members and all of them signed multi sigs . Goodwin signed 12 for myself . Also psa is familiar with there autographs . With the Morrison's , some do look off . But comapring them to others I have . They share some qualities . Does outlaw buy from someone or do they get every single one themselves ?
With this item failing psa quick opinion , it doesnt suprise me . The quick opinion isnt the best option to use . If it was mailed and in and you paid the full $75-125 letter . They would pass it .

Just my honest opinion...I'm an OUAT fan living in Vancouver...
The show has filmed 3 years now. And I've gotten up to the cast multiple times at set, and a few times at the airport. Let's round off to 6 (ish) times I've met Jennifer Morrison/Ginnifer Goodwin/Josh Dallas. Those 3 alone will sign 10-15 items for anyone waiting. I've seen Outlaw and I've seen Canadagraphs both at set and the airport getting the cast. After 3 years and 6 interactions just by me alone, I could have 60+ autographs. But these guys are pros, they know where the cast lives, they know when they're flying in and out for weekends; basically I've met them 6 times, I'm sure these guys are upwards of 20-30 times in 3 years.
As far as I know, Canadagraphs is a one man show, and Outlaw is a couple, 2 people, 2x the autographs at each encounter.
