Hi everyone. I been studying Heath Ledger signature pretty hardcore for the last 3 months, on a daily basis and am trying to build a database of authentic examples to use as a authentication and reference guild. Examples of his earlier signatures are very hard to come across and I noticed this cast signed photo on ebay.

I have never seen Heath sign like this. Is this his authentic signature from that time period of 1999? If so how long did he sign like that? Are the signitures even authentic? Im hopeing that someone with experience can tell me more about this signature style. Thanks in advance.

Bumpity to the top. I'm wondering if anyone has any autograph studies on Ledger's early signatures.
I looked around the other day and found nothing. I didn't even find any other exampled of this promo photo signed. I'm guessing he signed like that for this promo set and that may be it.
Thank you, BC. That is precisely my point . I have not seen any examples of Heath signing like this. I would assume that this was signed in the presence of a company rep, because I can almost bet that if any forger were to sign in that style, they would get a reject. I find it puzzling that any authentication company can call this authentic. He may signed like that strictly for this promo set, but how would they know that.
This is real.
This is precisely my point. PSA or not, this Heath Ledger signature is questionable at best. Just because something comes with a letter from PSA, doesn't mean it's real. If you buy items just because they are authenticated by PSA, you could be setting yourself up for disappointment.

It seems to be the only way to believe if an autograph is real is to see a print being signed with your own eyes. :/
I don't believe that literally.
