I thought you bought this at an auction in NYC at a high profile record release party in June of 2008 for $650. They provided you with the original receipt from the auction or from Art of Music????

It sounds like the auction at the record release was supporting a nonprofit group, and The Art of Music was supplying it.

Exactly where I was going with my question. His money is long gone.

I see that bit now, and agree. $ Gone. Sorry PM.

This signed poster is so bad. Both Ledger and Bale is not even close to been authentic.
Look like you $$$ is as good as gone. If you still think is authentic after all the feedback you got on your poster. Hang it up on your wall and enjoy it !!!! Good luck in getting your $$$ back!!!!!

You had reached out to my company (Autograph Pros, LLC) in an attempt to sell this the other day.  I'm glad you sought advice here as I was going to reply with the same as what's been said here.  That looks nothing like my known in-person exemplars and do not believe that to be real.

When Heath passed away, it was a big deal! Right away autographs of his were getting gobbled up at high prices. So let me ask you PM, wouldn't it be profutable for someone to take out a pen and simply forge his autograph on a joker poster?

think about that up front and keep it in mind,

Now look very closely at the "H" in a real signature and the "H" in yours. Would you not agree, completly different? Of course!

Now you might say "his signature varied" but find me ONE just one example of him doing an H" your way, you won't.

This is a total forgery. Sorry you got had, but this is the industry. Hope you get your money back!

What a lot of BS !!! They will not pay you. Chalk it up as a lesson learned.

PM, you should cut your loses. It is going on 10 years ago in a circumstance that is convoluted. No sense in throwing good money after bad by spending another $100 to get this verified as fake only to find that will not honor your request.

Sorry you got had, it always sucks to find out a poster you've been proudly displaying is not good after all these years.

If it makes you feel any better, most of us on here have been there. I lost $600 on a fake once, another time I bought a $1250 fake but managed to sell it back to the person who sold it to someone else.

There are forgers all over and COAs mean nothing unless it is a reputable company, even then, fakes are sometimes featured.

Your best bet in the future is to post stuff here for a lot of opinions, you might not believe it, but people here know their stuff, and when you get 50 people telling you something is real, it probably is, or in your case, the reverse.

I am sure you aren't thinking about this now, but if you have the means, I always find it helps to get the real deal.

This is the real deal. Actually signed by Heath, without question, and no its not the joker, but all that stuff is suspicious anyway.

Cool pic of Ledger signing because you can see an authentic example in the photo. The loop of the "H" just slightly touches the initial line of the "H" and then right after leaving the "H" an immediate swoop down to form what looks like a "U".

Whenever I see this executed with speed, I know I am onto a Ledge auto that is real.
