In my opinion, that Elvis Presley is not genuine.

Thanks for helping

I second Steve's opinion.

No, I don't think that's any good either.

I've seen a number of autos on that picture but none have ever been authentic. It must be a forger favorite.

What an unusual attempt, it's almost sloppy enough to be real but in spots it gets way off track.  I agree with Steve.

Way off track. Like the "Get" in Get well soon?

Good job, Rog...just stick with me and you'll know Elvis in no time! ;)

Any thoughts

in my opinion, the first one has no chance, and the second one looks like it has some positives, it may be good.

Hey Grant, the first one I've seen sell before at a major auction house I believe it was. It's a no in my opinion.

And for the second one, it has a downward sloping P, where's Greg when you need him?

Brick, good point!  My head was spinning thru that whole Elvis thing with Greg, or vanderhoven or whoever he was.  I really didnt get much out of it, although there were a lot of good points made.

The top one is obviously bad to me. Someone asked me about the bottom one--it's up for auction at www.toddmuellerautographs.com--and it's not easy for me. The "E" of Elvis doesn't tilt slightly into the "l" and it's a bit long and incomplete at the top, which are things I look for. The downward sloping "P" isn't exclusive to German forgeries, but most of those forgeries have them. It doesn't feel right to me, but it may be fine. Beyond my ability to authenticate.
