Thanks Joe.  Much appreciated... Hope you are well... Yes was talking about the contract first and foremost...

It's just that Eric posted one that was a known secretarial but I found that it is a genuine one according to uacc study by al wittnibert..

The blue Wittenbert example is considered secretarial by Thecead.com

This is why I am so very careful with this name.

It’s is difficult....but thanks to you guys I can work this out..

I found this secretarial listed from  that period (bottom photo) it’s almost identical to the secretarial study but nothing like the contract...I’m trying to find out how many different secretarial types were around in 1951 or only one maybe? ...then I can compare..there is no point comparing to a secretarial from 15 years later...the early to mid 50s looks completely different on the secretarial study ...I know the contract is genuine ..I have others by different artistes ...the only one it looks slightly similar to it’s the 60s secretarial but I know that can’t be compared because of the contract date...top photo has the 1950 exemplar next to the contract...

Also I found out that the study claimed to be by al was made by someone else but apparently he took the credit...

Hello again, those are not the types of things I am looking at, but I lean to authentic. I am very wary with this name. The OP 's legibility, smooth/slowness and more vertical presentation could be attributed to the type of document signed - also her baseline (first name esp) does tend to straighten up considerably on contracts, and more still in the years just after this. The "y", also legible, threw me a little bit with its smooth clarity/speed but again, the document context. This also would explain the strength - her hand usually is very rapid and light - like...Vivien Leigh or Monroe.

Wow.. thanks for that expertise...i truly appreciate your opinion...

Is there anyone I can pay to look at it.... Someone that specialises in Judy?

Post better images please, including the full contract. If you're considering buy it and the seller won't send you large, sharp images, don't even consider it.

Steve the better photos are above....the other signature is val Parnell ..he was in charge at the palladium..

a similar one can be found on eBay...

not worth much but good as a check on the history of the contract..

Here you go Steve...the contract is genuine because I have others form that era to compare it to...14 performances..twice nightly and 2 matinee performances making the 14..with 1 day off...just was checking it’s not the secretarial ...I found a few secretarial and they do look much different though..what do you Think? Thanks for looking..
