Again, another horrific Mantle forgery.  Notice where the "Mantle" part of the forgery goes off the white of of the photo.  "The Mick" would have made certain his entire autograph was in the white.

Yeah this is one of the worst.

I thought that too Chris. I think they like dark photos to hide the problems. I see it a lot with Ted Williams.

Yes James...sorry but this a not authentic...

The dealer who was selling this was preaching his virtues of being a dealer since 1990, but still can't tell Mickey Mantle from a Fire Place Mantle. " Totally Authentic" in the heading of the listing is a tip off that it's a fake (LOL)

Probably better than your standard forgery. The pose is one I have NEVER seen. I would just steer clear of it....In fact, E-bay has made sure everyone will steer clear of it. It will be on Auction ZIP in a matter of days I'm sure.

I personally believed that it was fake, but I wanted to defer to more experienced individuals. I was hoping to get it pulled from ebay. Thanks everyone! Thanks to all of you I will not be in the market to either purchase or sell autos that look like that.

This item is no longer available that is exciting.
