I would appreciate some feedback on the likely authenticity of the below signed Jimi Hendrix piece. I have dealt with the seller before, and he has high credibility with me. Just want to confirm my thoughts on this being likely authentic before possibly laying out money on the piece. Thank you

Looks good to me but double check with others.

I think this looks good too. Here is one of mine for some comparison.

Thank you all for the feedback. I have an opportunity this weekend to pick up a number of special items, including the shown piece. Just need to keep budget in mind versus the "ooh so shiny" response (the ever present wants vs. needs impulse equation that seems inherent in our reason for gathering here).

Although I do have a (hopefully genuine) Experience set I wouldn't want to opine on authenticity, though the OP autograph certainly looks OK to this amateur collector.

In deciding how much you are prepared to pay I would consider the fact that the signed item is basically a newspaper. Newspapers are notorious for browning and becoming brittle over time. The contrast is not fantastic either.

I'm also not sure the paper won't start sagging when hung on the wall - it doesn't seem to be particularly flat in the frame. Wouldn't be my choice of mountboard and label either but those are things that can be changed easily enough.

That had crossed my mind too. But if I ran into Jimi on the street I'd ask him to sign a piece of T.P. if thats all I could get my hands on....So long live Rolling Stone! LoL
