Hi All,

A rare original still of Isuzo Yamada in 1953's Hiroshima by Hideo Sekigawa, shot on location with a number of actual victims. Music by Akira Ikfube, who scored Godzilla just the next year, and also created his trademark roar and footsteps. He would go on to create 250 film scores. Spanish stamps to Obverse, Japanese and Spanish stamps to the Reverse. Gelatin silver print. Very Fine + condition. Trimmed.

Certainly a very haunting image.   I am sure that, at least in the USA, stills such as this are very rare.  Likely very rare in Japan also for that time period.

Thank you Scott. I'm not sure if it was even released here until this century.
