Hello,

I am excited to be purchasing this group-signed “With The Beatles”. I’m acquiring it from Frank Ciazzo. Frank says that the signatures date from right around the period just after the release date of the LP in late 1963. Therefore, he suggests it may have been signed at the Wimbledon fan event December 14, 1963 when they met and signed for fans (as shown in the attached photo). However, the actually history of the album is otherwise not known.

I’m not seeking opinions on authenticity. However, I am wondering if anyone here is familiar with this particular LP and knows any history that they can share.

Thanks,

Marc

Do we dare ask the price of such a nice item?

Bruce, I certainly don’t blame you for wanting to know (I would also be curious). However, I prefer not to discuss prices publicly.

Nice, I've never seen it before but agree that the Wimbledon Fan Club event would seem to fit.

Very nice! Another one is currently for sale on fab4collectibles but doesn't seem as clean as yours. Are you acquiring yours directly from Frank? Because I regularily try to have a look on his "latest acquisitions" on his website but haven't seen it. Just to know whether it may be usefull to liaise with him if all items for sale are not on the website. Sorry, may be a stupid question but I am a  newbie in this world, still looking for his first set of signatures to buy :-)

Bertrand,

I acquired it directly from Frank. I am also a relative newby and I don’t think you’re question is stupid. I purchased my signed PYX book from him, having seen it on his website. During or shortly after that purchase process I let him know that I was looking for a signed LP and he let me know about this With The Beatles opportunity that he was in the process of acquiring. So, in this case it never reached his website. Similarly, I have done business with Thomas at Fab4 Collectibles and I had mention to him that I was looking for an LP. He did let me know about the WTB and PPM that are now on his site. However, I had already begun the purchase of Frank’s WTB, and am very happy it. There was also a PPM at Tracks that I almost bought that I had learned about in the same manner, that is now on their website. I ended up going with Frank’s instead but Jason at Tracks was great about it. Another class act. So, if there is a dealer that your interested in doing business with, I think it’s reasonable to let them know what you’re looking for. My only autograph purchases thus far have been from Frank, who has been great to do business with. However, I have had great experiences with Thomas, Jason and Perry.

Marc, thanks a lot for all these explanations. Much appreciated!

Indeed, for a fully signed LP, I would probably only buy from one of the sellers you listed. I also considered buying the PPM currently for sale on Rockaway Records, as the price seems interesting and there is a LOA from Frank but Paul's signature is too faded (justifying probably the quite low price for a fully signed LP).

The PPM on Fab4Collectibles is tempting...

The sale is complete and I now have the album. I’m thrilled to own this. Here are additional photos, including Frank’s LOA description.

I haven’t found any more history on this specific LP. However, I wanted to show you all my LP now that I have it framed.  I have it displayed with my other group-signed item.

Wow. This looks really nice. Congrats!

Fantastic item. Congratulations : - )
