How to Erase an "Autograph"?

So I have a helmet that is obviously fake(see below) What is the best way to wipe them off so I can use it for future signings? I don't want to ruin the helmet of course.

One way is to draw over the signature with a dry erase marker. The chemicals from the dry erase marker ink will interact with the Sharpie ink. Let it sit more a minute and wipe it off with a soft dry cloth. Repeat a few times if you have to until the Sharpie is completely gone. This method is much safer and gentler than volatile solvents like lighter fluid or trying to rub it off with a white eraser.
