I purchased this TOM BRADY Autographed Jersey. The owner told me that it came from Antiquities in CA. I haven't received the COA yet. PSA quick opinion says it is likely not genuine. AMA quick opinion says that it is likely genuine.
I have conflicting reports now. Anyone have any opinions on this. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks Steve, I will get a larger image up soon. I used AMA because they were one of the few companies that do the quick opinion. http://www.autographsauthentication.com/
I will work on a better photo.
I've seen some bad things with AMA authentication. I believe them to be a rubber stamp. I called their company once and reached someone who was not very helpful. They're one of those forensic document examiners and tried to impress on me their sophisticated science which proves authenticity conclusively although they can't talk about it anymore than that.
A bad Elvis (possibly secretarial) is currently on eBay with an AMA cert and a GAI certification. Go by the PSA quick opinion, better safe than sorry, would you ever feel comfortable buying something that one of the most respected authenticators takes a look at and says it is unlikely to be genuine?
Brick,
Thanks for the reply. Being new to this I am doing a lot of reading. I see that PSA/DNA have some issues regarding their credibility as well. I guess it comes down to the fact that these are just opinions, some more educated than others, but opinions nonetheless. I haven't quite starting slugging the PSA Coolaid yet. I guess the only real way to know is to witness the signing yourself. That is the only true way to know.
Hey Matthew- I STRONGLY suggest you ask a dealer named Radtke Sports if they have a Brady autographed jersey. They most likely do and they have a great reputation in the memorabilia hobby. They also conduct private signings with many players, and I think they have the biggest contract to date with Brett Favre. Good luck searching! -Mike
Here are two more pictures of the Brady autograph. It has a certificate from Antiquities. The cert doesn't state that it is for a signed Tom Brady Jersey, but it does have a hologram sticker that matches the sticker on the jersey. The number on the holo is AOC-11956.
Any input on this auto would be appreciated. In order for me to send this thing off to PSA or JSA or something I will have to demount it, that will be a huge pain cuz the jersey is sewn onto the backing of the framing.
Anway thanks for checking this out and thanks to all who have responded.
Thank you all for you input. As it turns out, I ran a cert number check with Antiquities. The number on the hologram and the cert came back to an Ashley Tisdale signed photo. LOL. Ok, lesson learned, Jersey getting sent back and money being refunded.
I ended up going to Gillette Stadium and buying an autographed Jersey directly from the New England Patriots. I got the last one they had. Official Game jersey (not a replica) signed by Tom.
I guess that is the way to do it. I just doesn't pay to try to save money and fool around with ebay.
Matt
I called Antiquities, the number was on the Cert card. They were VERY helpful. Seller has agreed to refund and I am backed by ebay buyer protection anyway. If he doesn't pay, ebay will. I have already spoken to ebay by phone (ebay acutally reached out to me if you can believe it).
I will keep you posted if you are interested in the resolution.
Matt
The item wasn't purchased from Antiquities, it was purchased from an ebay seller who purchased the raw jersey from Antiquities. The seller then attached a hologram from another item onto the jersey and included the corresponding Antiquities Cert card.
When I ran the number on the hologram with Antiquities they informed me that the hologram and cert was for an Ashley Tisdale photo. So bascially there were shenanigans going on.
Antiquities was very helpful with the situation. I don't want confusion. The nefarious activity took place by the ebay sports framing seller.
