I'm a newbie, have question about My Paul McCartney autograph with Smiley face.

Hi All,
Just found this website and I'm hoping to get some help on my  autograph from Sir Paul.
I used to work at JFK airport in the late 70's early 80's where I obtained a few celebrity autographs during that time but my most prized is the one Paul gave me in (I think, October) 1984.
I hate to have to sell it, but I had to take early retirement and things are tight around here.
Someone offered my $800.00 a few years ago, but I didn't think that was a good price.
Here's a pic.
I would appreciate any opinions or advice and thanks in advance.

Ha, ha!  Thanks for the laugh!  I needed it.  This is just too stressful.  Would you mind telling me which one you have up on ebay now?  I'd love to see it.

My seller name is cblessin or search for mccartney signed caiazzo and mine is on the "you know my name" cover.

Nice item Chad.  To tell you the truth I never heard of "You know my Name" until Anthology came out.  Never knew there was a 45 either.  This is the 1st one I've seen.  Good luck with it!

I appreciate it. It ends tomorrow evening so we will know soon.

if it were me, there is no way I would sell that.

Call me weird, but if someone shows us a piece here, they cando what they want with it.

Eileen shouldn't have to offer it to everyone if she wants to test the market.

I give advice for free and don't expect anything in return. I also would expect others to do the same,

I didn't realize that the expectation is that if I show something here people get dibs on it.

Free is free.

Agreed. Not right that some folks obviously tried to low ball a newbie and are upset that she was smart enough to know better.

Right on guys.

Well that was going to be my point- that if that was an unwritten rule, then people could just lowball folks.

wow eileen, i can't beleive this whole mess. seems like alot of people on hear are full of them selves and need to get a life. you have done nothing wrong here. keep on keeping on. i could only wish and hope i could meet sir paul in the flesh. power to the people, meaning you! this IS YOUR autograph. not this forum's.

Yea, Who would have known during the height of Beatlemania, as I was planning my wedding to Paul, lol, that years later I would have met him twice. I was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time, I guess.
Thanks to you and everyone else for being here and for all of your help.

I agree Eileen that you can do what ever you want with the item...because guess what nimrods...(and I love ya Josh), but she can list the thing for what ever, where ever and when ever she wants. She has NO OBLIGATION to anyone.

Now if someone here wanted to stand up and send her 1K, I'm sure she would be happy not to have to pay the e-bay fees, but I don't see any of you cheap bastards stepping up to the plate, so shut your envious pie holes. For the guy in Scotland ..send her a $1,100.00 cashiers check and I'm sure there would be no problem with shipping it  to you if you don't panic when it doesn't make it to you in 3 days....it could take up to 2 weeks.

Lay off the poor lady and make her an offer before a  "real idiot" on e-bay buys it....You don't want to risk that Eileen. More jack-offs per capita on e-bay then on this site, believe it or not?
