I sold a gorgeous $10k dollar [Tom Petty] signed LP for $50 because of the "opinion" of folks here.

I said what I wanted to say. Thank you!

"...Beckett certified the album, it turned out to be 100% legit. You guys evidently don't know what the heck you are talking about. You should seriously consider NOT giving your opinions in the future. You are doing more harm than good..." - from Rusty's original post. This conversation shall remain open so others can have their say as well. Please post clear images of the item in question so it can be discussed properly. Why did you edit out your original post and alter the (now restored) title?

My vote is that 1) the original post be restored and 2) Rusty fills in the gaps here on what was decidedly an accusatory post that made very little sense. Otherwise this whole thread should be deleted.

for some reason, he does not want us to see the questionable album.   I agree with our disillusioned friend, what's done is done.  He does not want to have an intelligent discussion about this.  His preference is to write this nonsense and run.

Spock would say he is unable or unwilling to respond.

I'm with Rich on this.  If he is just going to create an accusatory post, and then hide with no chance to discuss, then let's delete the whole thing.  It brings no value or knowledge to this subject, but sheds a lot of light on the person posting.

1st your friend , I believe he knew in advance he could pull this off

2nd a friend would never do this to another friend

3rd , if they were a real friend, they would kick back some $$ to you for hosing you

Yes, we need to see the photos of the signed album in question.

If it was posted here and you asked for opinions, then you would have been given honest opinions.

Nobody told you to sell it. If you sold it for $50 that was your choice.

No signed TP and Band album would ever fetch $10K!

Well said.

Well said terrier.

I wish I could sell all of my fake autographs for $50. Tom Petty is at the point where you get off your cheap ass and get it authenticated.

No pics, huh?
