At US $55,000 You're paying one hefty premium unless it's a very special piece. You can find quality genuine Hendrix autographs if you spend the time looking. A few especially nice ones appear most years. 

Are you in a rush to get it? Take some time, learn a bit and be cautious. It'll protect you, could save you tens of thousands unless you find an album, and may prevent your father from getting a forgery.

This is a special set that has been around for a while. It will be expensive for sure, but I think it would be a great choice.

I want to know the price of the old auction for the encapsulated ones. Do you happen to know an example?
