I was thinking recently about the amount of fakes that are authenticated by GAI, so I went through my items and located 5 pieces authenticated by them. I looked up the corresponding number on their website (what's left of it anyway) and found that two items aren't even listed. The database shows no item exists. Two of the three items I know are legit as they were from a private Willie Mays signing a few years back and included the Say Hey authentication plus the MLB authentication. The other three I believe are bad. Two are Stan Musial 8x10's and one is Bart Starr 8x10.
What I find interesting is that you would assume that people who have legitimate authentic photo's used the GAI service. There should be a quantity that are real! But, it appears that almost everything I come across is FAKE! Did they authenticate anything real, or did they have a network set up where they had people produce known forgeries and then they authenticated them? It seems to be the latter. I wish I could remember who I bought these three from and contact them. You wouldn't think they would spend their time on Musial and Starr. Any opinions on this?

Mike, I have the Oscar pIece I bought from you signed by a few Oscar winners. It got kicked off ebay a couple of weeks ago and don't tell me you don't know which piece it is. Can you send me a check c/o Frank and Sons Collectible Show, I mean a money order and I will return it to you. Your Pacquiao items were good, but a lot of your rock and roll and celebrity items did not pass PSA, I know because I submitted them for you. Now if you want to call me a liar again, that is o.k. because you and I and God know the truth. I really don't have much more to say to you but, you need to stop critizing people when you have so many skeltons in your closet. The proof of it is all the people that are against you on this forum. Straighten out your own reputation before you critize others.
Steve, Mike, Christine and Darren:
What you're talking about is getting WAY off the topic of this discussion, GAI, and everyone's probably gotten over 50 emails of your posts since last night. Not to stifle you, but for the sake of other participants, has enough been said to stick a fork in it? If not, what about setting up a private group and those who want can continue. I don't want it public because every post will end up in the Public Activity stream on the home page.
Thanks
