I purchased this Hank Aaron signed baseball in the early 80's at a card show. The baseball used for the signature with made in 1983, National League Official Charles S Feeney Pres. I compared it with other Hank Aaron autographs and I can find some similarities but I cannot be sure, opinions are welcomed.

That is 100% correct, I learned a valuable lesson with this. It is a damn shame that with the fraud out there to consumers you can have your trust be lost and in the end everyone in the business of selling autographed items, even the legitimate ones can have their business suffer from ones who sell forgery items.

This ball would definitely have been signed in the early 80’s as Aaron shortened his signature since.  There are a few things that made me think this was a careful forgery, but I do believe it is good.

Steve, thanks for your insight with this. When I researched his signature over the years he did it, he did change it in the 80's. What made me think it was authentic was this image from this ball I found online. Hank%20Aaron.jpg it sure matches the one I have IMG_3950.jpeg

I wouldn’t go by matching one ball, you should start to see similarities among several balls.  Even though his signature changed, there are still some things he does consistently over the years.

+1 many exemplars.
