Hi all,

just wanted to see if this Heath Ledger signed joker 8 (1/2) x 11 picture was legit and it also comes with a COA from Mark Chapman Autographs. Just wanted to get another opinion before buying.

 Thanks heaps

It seems too legible to me overall, not like what I've seen, but see what other more experienced eyes say. This is a very rare graph.

Nope definitely not! Steer clear.

The signature does not look good to me and I'm not sure whether this still/scene would have been available while he was alive.

That is what I was thinking - the image might eliminate the thing.

The biggest giveaway is the 'H'- for some reason forgers love to draw it with such flourish and neat loop on the bottom right stem. This style is also way incorrect for the latter stages of his career, its vertically squashed and the sideways slant is wrong. Ledger was characteristically extremely messy normally and, as as Mike and Eric point out, the photo (much less this photo shopped version) was not available during his lifetime.

Here is a late career style Ledger signature:

Thanks heaps for all the help guys really appreciate it.

There is a guy on eBay by the name of memorabilia1999 and he has a ledger signed 6x4 on their for $240 It says it comes with coa under memorabilia1999 but I haven’t heard of him or the name before, thoughts?

 Thanks

Taking a quick look, I would avoid that seller (:

Thanks

Yeah definitely avoid that too.

Honestly, I dont think youll find anything authentic for under US400.

Ledger is pretty rare and sought after so anything listed cheap is likely to be fake.

Thanks, good to know

not authentic... that's a fan made photoshop of the original that came out after his death.
