Hi, any opinions on the authenticity of this Harvey sketch and signature? It looks good to my untrained eye but I've read archives here mentioning some fakes.

I'd appreciate any comments on authenticity and why.

Thanks!

I have studied Stewart closely and have seen this Stewart style on many items over the years.

I don't have much confidence in it. I wouldn't touch it for my collection.

Thanks, Steve. Can you tell me what about it makes you believe it's not authentic?

There is no over-riding "flaw" to point out, but that is usually the case with halfway decent fakes. It's more of a "look."

To my eye, it has a "manufactured" "old-age" shaky look. If I had seen one or two of these, I wouldn't give it much thought. But after seeing many of this "style" over the years... always the same "messy" look... usually with a Blue marker that looks like a Sharpie. There are mass numbers of this style on IAWL poses.

I've seen many... yet I don't think I've ever seen this style with a personalization, which he did frequently.

Thanks for the specifics. I was concerned about that after seeing the other posts.
