Actually, I think this is likely genuine. It’s an earlier Michael Jordan style. Steve Grad has authenticated this style as has JSA. Some of the autograph looks to have faded so it’s hard to get a complete look at what it once was, but I do think it’s likely an authentic pre-UDA autograph of Jordan who didn’t start with UDA until 1992.

James, always respect your valued opinion. I think with it being an earlier style, it may have thrown me a little bit.

Thanks, John. Yeah, I became more aware of this style and paid more attention to it over the last year or two, and seeing several with COAs ftom JSA, BAS, and PSA/DNA with Grad. Now, as we know, sometimes a fake can erroneously get into the system where they repeat the mistake over and over again, but I think they’re right on this one.
