Extremely unlikely. I wouldn't touch it at any price

Thanks Mike, im certainly in two minds now.. Found this other example, although a little fuzzy strikes no real resemblance to the OP.. So confused now.. Mccartney isnt my area but even i can see a difference

I bet if you offered £300 he would accept. Totally fake.

If you want an authentic one, give tracks a look. They aren't cheap; however, a fake is a 100% loss

Wouldn't be surprised.. Was literally just looking on Tracks and some nice items have caught my eye.. Suppose the old addage of you get what you pay for springs to mind eh.. Thanks Mike

No worries. Fakes are expensive waste paper. You're better off with tracks. The OP is 100% garbage.

I think this could be good. P a little off but wouldn't be the 1st time. If there's anything that makes me doubt its authenticity it's the fact it's so battered. Why queue for the autograph, or subsequently splash big bucks on it, if you're going to treat it like that?

Just in response to an earlier comment, the reason seller may have found a nicer signed copy is McCartney did a signing of this album (for Virgin I think) .

The seller said they had a contact in london who got alot of in person signatures.. This being one of them..they said the cover wasnt in great condition but managed to get a nicer copy hence this sale... Thats the story behind it anyway...

I posted one earlier that couldve been signed at the same time and the OP looks totally different, even the P.. Its a fuzzy picture but there are noticeable differences

The other 1 you posted is a rarer fuller version of his signature but he certainly didn't sign like that throughout the hmv signing.

I agree it's difficult to authenticate a Macca. Forgers are quite sophisticated now. I just don't think it's an obvious fake.

Thanks Tim.. Much appreciated

its fake

It looks close, but I would avoid this one.
