Good luck is right. :) I've seen a lot of inscriptions before, but never a "Good Luck". Whole thing is off, from what I've seen that I know to be gotten live. Unless this is a nut-house signature, before the thorazine drip, I'd cast my vote in the fake column. :)

And most jests have a lot of truth to them. I had a Bud Powell signature. Charlie Parker's pianist. He signed for an orderly that was a jazz aficionado during his tenure in the nuthouse. Padded cells and shock treatments will do strange things to someone's signature just as much as to the rest of them. Although Bud's typical signature would never be considered tidy by any stretch of the imagination (I think he was illiterate), the one he signed while in Creedmore State Hospital looked more like it was drawn by a seismograph than a human. :)

Yep. "I feel Good" and just "Feel Good" are the most common inscriptions I've seen on irrefutable pieces. I haven't ran across even one, "Good Luck", aside from this highly suspect piece.

I agree that the inscription is strange and unusual, that's why i asked your expert opinion so many thanks to you all, i must only add that the quick opinion requested by me to Roger Epperson is that 'it is fine'

Was the "last concert in Madrid" performed during or in close proximity to the last year of his life?

The seller says that he got it from an ancient man in Spain and that the signature was obtained when J.Brown made the last concert in Madrid before dying.
