Took a gamble on this little number. It popped up online for pretty cheap, so I grabbed it. It hasn't been shipped yet, but according to some members of JJ's fan club site, it looks good. Said to be from Big Brother's start up era. Any opinions? If it proves to be fake, he promises a refund

Im happy for you Mercury!!! Right on. If you want to see some great examples of Janis, i would try RR auction. I use it for alot of my exemplar files. In order to view the past auctions you need to register, which is free, and that gets you access to the old auctions, and you can pull up the pictures as well. I have gotten alot of good Janis signature examples from their. Good luck in getting one

Do you have images of the Jimi and Jim autographs?

Ah, I see. Thanks.

No problem. I'm glad that you were able to cancel it. Sorry that it turned out that way.

The Hard Rock Café authenticates sigs? Not all the stuff they hang up is authentic. I have a few pics somewhere of a few things they might want to relook.

OK I misunderstood. Not sure about all the costumes and such but I've seen some crazy looking signed guitars in a few of them.

Good call as this is not authentic.  Joplin is a tough one as many don't have authentic exemplars to compare with.
