Hello everyone, in 2013 I wrote to Jerry Lee Lewis and sent him 5 photos asking to sign. He (?) answered within 14 days and the result can be seen on here. What do you think about the autheticity of the signatures? I am not a professional, never saw JLL signing in person, so I am curious about your opinions. Thank you in advance!

p.s.: I could not upload further 2 photos.

Steve, I think JLL is ambidextrous and just switches hands when one gets tired from signing.

Hej All! Thank you for answering/writing agile to my question. Sorry for opening one more topic about Jerry Lee Lewis, I should have joined the discussion which already exists – I am sorry! The photos “Heel on ivory” and “right foot on keys” (posted 10 hours ago) seem to have the same handwriting, at least the look alike.

One photo that I want to ad shows the picture disc that was signed for money. I received it quiet recently and it is supposed to be personally signed. I have added it to this reply. I wrote a polite request to sign the other side of the picture disc – instead he (?) signed like where you see. My surname was written with ballpoint (!), the signature with an extra broad paint stick. Would you say both is the Killers handwriting on the disc?

The "To" part I would say nope not in the hand Jerry Lee.  The other.. I really can't see that much detail to tell.

I would send the picture of the album to Roger and get his opinion on it.  He is the well versed when it comes to Jerry Lee Lewis.  When I first got mine back in the mail (the By Request Album) - I sent it to Roger and paid for his opinion.  He said it was not real and looked like the signature of a woman.

Mark

Mark, Please stop calling Jerry Lee a woman. He would not appreciate that.

Hi Johannes,

You can easily compare your signatures with these two, I obtained in person in 1994, in his dressing room after the show in Arnhem.

oh no….

:)

Mark

Oh, yes! ;-)
