And please upload the images, not just links to images, because they usually expire after a while.

The main thing I've learned from this thread is don't touch a Jerry Lee Lewis graph no matter what. :\

That's a real shame, Rich. It shouldn't be that way.

Is this not signed by JLL in its entirety?

That one is mine TTM from last year.  Here is one from the year before which is entirely in JLL's hand.  Notice the difference in the T in Thanks.  I do believe the inscriptions are written by someone before hand, then handed to JLL to sign.  Ive gotten earlier ones where the T in To looks again to be different.  I do believe all the signatures TTM are real however.  As a side note, Ive gotten 3 IPs and never was once asked who should I sign this to.  Just an FYI if it helps.

You think Judith wrote "To Steve Sincerely yours" and then JLL signed it?

What's caught my eye recently is that the the bottom of the descending loops go to upstrokes sharply on the ones that look to many of us like they were undoubtedly signed by JLL. Most of the ones questioned don't have that characteristic, except for the books and other items Whitten may have signed.

No just the To Steve.  The S in Steve and Sincerely appear different to me.  I think when she gets things in the mail, she will write the 'To name' on the item, then the item gets handed over to JLL and he signs it however he likes, Thanks, Sincerely, God Bless,  etc.  I have no proof of course but from all the postings here that is my conclusion.

How about the dedications from Dave's TTM signed LPs pictured above?

Ballroom,

You make good points but I can certainly still see the other side of this. There are a variety of characteristics and oddities with JLL that drive me nuts. I've spent a lot of time studying these and I'm still uncertain of many examples.

Thanks for your continued attention to this.

Thanks, Chad. I really appreciate your efforts as well, and I agree that there are plenty of oddities associated with JLL signatures. Keep in mind the issue regarding the five original signatures that were presented as being secretarials - the foundation of the JLL secretarial claim. A signature that is said to be authentic later becomes secretarial, and vice-versa. Nearly every single PSA authenticated JLL signature has been deemed secretarial. Why are these things happening?

So the thinking is that the top example contains a dedication written by Judith and a genuine JLL, while the bottom example is entirely in the hand of Judith?
