This was recently sold on eBay as an IP signature:

This looks like others I’ve seen before. I think it is good on first glance. Feels like I haven’t examined jll for a long time.

I feel that way too. The J and Y caught my eye.

Ballroom. I already sent him a book to sign. I didn't say sign it like you did the other 750 books. I just asked him to just please sign it.  And this is what I got back.  A totally different signature (from the 750 other books) and notice he signed on a different page as well.

Mark

This is a larger, looser signature like he typically provides TTM. The book signatures are smaller, tighter signatures similar to the one below. That said, if you're open to it, you can see characteristics that are similar to the book signatures.

When was the top one of the two you posted above signed, Ballroom?

I don't know, but I know that both were signed by JLL.

Very nice Mark. A book actually signed by JLL himself. Congratulations!

thanks!

Mark, what I find most interesting about this is that several of the authentic examples (like this one, and the one I own which is very similar to this) have his names with no signature breaks.  Not one of the books we have seen signed in red by whoever signed them, exhibits this trait. I would think if he links his names together signing one item, some or all of the books would similarly be linked.

You haven't seen any examples from the series of photos that he signed? Several were recently sold on eBay. I purchased one. I've seen a number of those signed photos and don't recall having seen any without a break in the signature. How interesting is that?

Every IP I got from JLL and the ones I paid for TTM, have no break.  I guess you can say that is the one consistent trait of a genuine JLL signing for fans. Now, I know Mark Roberts has a lot of contracts.  Elvis signed those very differently from how he signed for fans.  Mark are the JLL contracts signed similar to the books in anyway?  That could be key here.
