The top example is from the PSA AutographFacts database. The bottom example is currently for sale on eBay for $2,400 OBO. Thanks in advance.

Wow... I would be extremely careful. Both signatures have 95% identical characters, so the one currently for sale could be a fake. Maybe some kind of laser or "offset" printing. I wouldn't trust it.
Epperson has looked at the same image that I'm looking at, ---he has not verified it in person. One would even have to check the sheet on which the autograph was written... or "printed"!
So, be aware!
It certainly is a forgery - not a "could be" scenario - they are identical - just shifted around.
Yeah Eric, it's a big scam.
Unfortunately, this perhaps the 5th such Hendrix overlay I recall making. :(
Indeed. The quality of the fake is garbage as well - doesn't even appear hand signed.
Thanks for the replies, and also to Eric for putting together the overlay. It’s amazing how even the shape and position of the dots in the first name portion line up.
Thanks Paul. Wish I didn't have to - such rampant forgery :(
Most Welcome Ballroom. :)
