Can someone tell what their opinion is on this TTM that was given to me. Thank you for your time.

This is a secretary signature in my opinion.

Thank you. I thought the same.

Were all his TTMs sec though?  I remember sending him something in the 90's, it came back with a note saying due to the recent death of his wife, Mr. Stewart will no longer be signing thru the mail.  So, apparently he did sign at one time.

I believe he responded authentically up until the last few years. They used a secretary and an Autopen for a period.

This TTM came with an envelope with a date of March of 1989.

Good to know. Thanks. There may have been periods where he had health issues and the secretary pinch hit for him. I vaguely recall a discussion of this nature on one of the old Yahoo listservs. Back in the early days of the internet, those groups were a treasure trove of good information. Too bad the content has been lost.

Makes me wonder if the autographed Jimmy Stewart photo I have is authentic. I'm going to submit my pic to the forum for authentication. Thanks for bringing this topic up.

as always
