I wouldn't worry. We are talking generation gaps, here.

I doubt that any of my kids would know who Jimmy Page is but I bet they would know how to obtain a signed Taylor Swift cd at source. But it probably doesn't occur to most people of my generation that Jimmy Page would even have his own website peddling merchandise. Why would he - he must be a begillionaire by now.

This is why people will buy it on eBay for §1000 - especially if they have dealt with the trader before and were pleased. It doesn't cross their mind that they could get it retail at source, or they don't have the time to investigate, or they have plenty of money and don't care.

If the general public wised-up, marketplaces like eBay would disappear overnight.

I would guess he has probably signed a thousand - copies or bookplates. Let's just hope he actually signed them.

Still available after almost 24h. Seems he might have signed like a 1000 of them easily, I expected it to be gone much sooner!

I mentioned way back in December that his last book, although priced a bit higher, was limited to 2500 copies and it stuck around for 5 months.

This one, sure its cheaper but still a lot of money while lots of people are low on disposable income. No one knows how many he signed but if its another 2500, it could still be available until the beginning of summer. All dependent on how many he signed. The resellers here are funny.

I'm more worried about if he got his hands on liza's advanced autopen machine. Ive pretty much stopped buying all autographs at this point but was set on getting one of these to cut and pair with a Plant art card. Glad to see these ship out quick. Royal Mail says they already have my package.
