That would be a cool story if he damaged it because he leaned too hard on the book while he was signing, but chances are that’s not the case because he probably signed the book plate before it was adhered to the book. 🫤

Mindfreek Ya, you're absolutely right that Jimmy NEVER even touched these books and just signed a multitude of the bookplates, that his team then adhered to the books.

And Wallet Boy , when I met Robert Plant in Toronto at Massey Hall back in 2001, Robert signed my ticket with a Blue Sharpie, and when he handed it back to me his thumb had indeed smudged the signature a bit! So I was happy to get a nice unsmudged signature on the Art Card that came with the signed "Saving Grace" CD.

*I think it needs to be said that it Kinda sucks that to get the Jimmy Page signed Bookplate you have to pay like $350 USD, whereas the Robert Plant signed CD was only about a tenth of that cost at $35.
