forget sending it to PSA for $75 bucks....what a waste of $$$$LOLOL. More than the autograph is worth, IMHO.

It's real. Why would you pay for PSA to tell you it's real, do you need the affirmation that bad? That mentality is just ridiculous , IMHO. To each there own, I guess. I'd rather save the money for a rainy day, than to give it to PSA.

Actually I know a guy who works for a company that sells lots of memorabilia and when PSA and JSA come out I can get a Full LOA for 25 bucks.  Worth it just to give customer piece of mind.  If this were for my personal collection, I wouldn't need affirmation because I know it is real....but when selling an autograph I'd rather pay 25 bucks to give the customer a sense of security.  

With all of the forgeries in the market place, it is my goal to make every item I sell a transaction that the customer is 100% happy with and I've found that TPA LOA's do just that.

I just mainly sell on ebay Steve and i'm not some mega dealer.  I just keep the prices as fair as possible and sell ONLY AUTHENTIC =)

and you're telling me that PSA will discount their Joe Dimaggio authentication service by 65% to "a guy I know?"Fudd Calls BS. Any company that discounts their prices by 65% are idiots. The minions are running the asylum apparently. Nice 8 x 10 though. when you get your 75.00 LOA from PSa let me know. Personally, I think it's total HorseS***that PSA would deep discount like that to anyone let alone "some guy I know"??? Wholly Schniekies. This hobby is more asinine backwards than I originally thought. Go for it Jason. Whatever floats your boat. You know I love ya.

It just reaffirms my position that people in general are complete IDIOTS to the core. (not you Jason- you just got a bad case of authenticationitis-LOL) Take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning. They do it all the time...History of the Game on ebay will pay a flat rate to have JSA or PSA to come out to authenticate for a certain period of time.  Any upgrades have an additional charge ( Such as a full letter LOA )  At any rate, you can research that in your own time if you wish. 

As far as you calling people idiots for trying to reassure their customer base in a time when forgeries are rampant, I'm not sure what to say.  It really doesn't offend me.  Why should it?  I make a pretty hefty extra income on ebay because of my policies on assuring authenticity.  I hold it with utmost importance, and some guy on a website with insults certainly won't change my mind.  

Just because I know it's real and just because you know it's real...doesn't mean that little Mary Johnson looking for a Christmas gift for her husband knows it's real or what about the collector who knows about PSA and JSA and the leading TPA's and doesn't have their own extensive knowledge of autographs.
