Here is a Lennon i purchased back in 1998. After a few years I began to doubt its authenticity. This one still gets me. Real or fake?!?!? I would love to say real, but I just cant pull the trigger! Tell me what you guys think.

As BallroomDays67 points out, the signature is typical to the period.  Google John Lennon autographs from the mid 70s and you'll find that to be the case. I expect to have the PSA certificate within three weeks.

He signed it on the first inside page of a book called "The Longest Cocktail Party". By his reaction to the book, it was clear he had no knowledge of it but really liked the title saying that, that was the case with Apple during that time. He turned the book over, viewed the authors photo and acknowledged that he remembered him. He opened the cover, signed it, handed it back to me saying "I've got to go, here come the crazies" as a group of people in the distance spotted him and began running in our direction. That's the short version. I've treasured it all these years. Most of it's life spent in a lock box at the bank. It's time to let it go.

The book measures 4 1/4" x 7". That should give you an idea of the size of the autograph. The book is in good shape considering it's age. The pages are beginning to yellow. I'm trying to make up my mind whether to take the page out of have it framed and matted or sell it as is.

I've seen what people are asking for a John Lennon autograph on ebay...I've also noticed...they're not selling. What would you say is a fair price?
Very nice
This has un-natural pressure throughout. It is also a bit shaky in some areas.
