Hello,

I know this is a huge, long shot. I bought this Hard Day's Night record at an antique store a while ago. I later noticed that there was a signature next to John Lennon's image that reads cookie. I didn't think anything of it at first. After some research, I learned that John was a fan of the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street and actually refers to the character in his song "Hold On".  Can anyone tell me if it resembles his handwriting at all? Again, I realize that this is a long shot.

Thanks

No from me.

Cookie Monster was "born" in 1966 but only in some commercials, many un-aired, and was not named "Cookie Monster" until 1969 so this "signature" would have to be after that.

I assumed, if anything, it would have to be from the 70's.

The record itself appears to be a 1964 original.

The formations are off and why would it not be legible?

It’s a no from me too, unfortunately. I don’t think it looks like his writing at all. I moved this to the Beatles forum.

No thanks...

Appreciate the feedback. Hope I wasn't too foolish posting this. I am not good at analyzing handwriting.
