John Lennon Fake or Real?

Some time ago, when i still wasnt  aware of this site, i nearly bought a John Lennon autograph from an auction.  I won the lot for under 500 Pounds but the seller said then the autograph got stolen and he doesnt have it anymore….. 

so i never got it and of course never paid for it...but since then i am wondering if it would have been a bargain or i am lucky that i didnt pay for it. I've been doing a lot of research on autographs lately and most i learn from you guys. thanks a lot  for that.

In my opinion i am lucky that i didnt get it.. but i would love to hear the expert opinions from you guys! thank you!

Ok thanks! I Keep learning from you guys a lot and at that time i didnt know about fast opinion services or this website. Not long ago i bought a Lennon from Tracks and i am very happy with it. actually i will let it frame today. as soon as i get it back i will post a pic of it for you guys to see.
