Hi everyone!

Would really appreciate your help with this John Lennon autograph, said to been signed in New York 1980. Do you think it's real or fake?

Thanks for helping!

Could be real, as his later signatures sometimes we're very simple and lacked much form, but that said, it still looks a bit off to me and it's not real in my opinion.

the "e" is much larger than typical.  hard to tell with this one.

I think it's hard to tell on this one as well. It could be a real, rushed IP autograph. I notice the notation in the lower right corner possibly by the person who obtained the autograph. I've many times seen where the original autograph recipient noted on a piece when they obtained the autograph. Of course, that doesn't mean it's legit. But again, it really could be. Is this supposedly coming from the original recipient?

If it were on eBay, I would look at the sellers's other items also.
Thanks guys, appreciate your help! I have now (in my original post) attached another pic that shows the entire item, if that's of any help...
There's a 1980 lennon signature on forum by Ben m in person. You could have a look at it.
As ed said really did lack form in the later style, but I wish I had Caiazzo file on lennon.
I'd pass on it.
I agree with most comments. Too many inconsistencies The L and E in Lennon would be enough for me to pass on this one.
Thanks Paul and fab432!
