Hi everyone,

This is my first post on the Autograph Magazine Forum.

For my first discussion, I want to ask everyone's opinion on this John Lennon autograph. It is from the late 70's. I know that his signatures became more rushed during his final years.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

What a strange signature, which doesn't look authentic to me.

There are some similarities in the lettering of the J and L but unless you personally obtained it, or you have a 100% provenance, no one would be brave enough to authenticate it. There are other genuine Lennon signatures out in there with the same issues.

I agree with you on the J and the L. The way the last N in his last name drags off is similar to what I saw from this time period. However, the part that worries me is the O in Lennon. Lennon would not make a loop for this O.

Not real in my opinion

I say no...

I'm going to conclude the same thing. Thanks guys!

I don't think so.
