Want to gift something to my Dad to make him feel better after my moms passing. Just wanted an opinion on if you guys know if this Global COA is trustworthy and also if you think the signature looks good. Also if anyone knows anything about TRISTAR,what’s your option on them? Thanks for the help in advance guys I appreciate it.
No, Global Authentics isn't trusted.
Tristar on the other hand is a legitimate company (I'm not aware of any issues at least), and are respected primarily when it comes to sports memorabilia. They're the ones who run the ginormous National Sports Collectors Convention every year, and manage many many signing events/shows annually. If the item comes with a Tristar cert, then it should have a Tristar sticker on it. In my experience they place the sticker on the signed number, and not just somewhere randomly on the jersey. So if this jersey is from Tristar, it seems unusual that it's not pictured.
Thanks for the reply! I really appreciate it I found it unusual to have the TRISTAR paper but no sticker and had no clue about Global so I appreciate the help!
I don't know his autograph but from the many that look the same on ebay, this one appears questionable compared to those. So is it only a Tristar card and a Global sticker? If so, that's doesn't seem good either. and global for the most part are not good. They might have been when started but that all changed.
yeah just seems fishy to me but wanted some outside options. It’s coming from an older man so maybe this was when Global was considered good but something seems off. Thanks for the help!
