Rachel,

After their Tompkins and Bush Michael Jackson sale in December 2012, I would advise everyone to avoid anything offered by Julien's Auctions like the plague.

Hello Steve,

What happened in 2012 on this auction? You can give a link or tell us a little about this?

Thanks,
Tim

I agree most items look suspect. However that pillowcase looks right to me.

I wonder if it will affect the sales, but I doubt it. He'll have record sales.

It can be hard to authenticate a pillowcase, but I think that in the future, anything signed that comes from Julien's Auctions will be looked at as suspect unless it has undeniable, provable, trustworthy provenance...and looks right. Especially Michael Jackson.

And think about it. Would you really want to buy a signed pillow case.

This pillowcase was sold at Heritage this year.

I agree with Steve on items being suspect with Juliens, especially after the 2012 auction.

You will see that there are multiple items from the 2012 auction that are being resold and without a doubt, forgeries.

As for the pillow case, that is a horrible forgery.  I don't care if it was sold by Heritage Auctions.  That autograph and writing is terrible.  Just look at the CH in Michael...not even close.  Heritage Auctions is selling another pillowcase with the same type of handwriting:

Rachel, avoid this item.

Will do. However they look right to me.
