Hi all!

Just wanted to share with you that I just purchased this set. It comes with the original concert program and a letter of provenance from the original owner stating how she received the signatures at the Beresfold Hotel in Birchington, Kent in 1963 (during a Winter Gardens concert).

Allegedly, it was a warm summer day and she went to buy a beach ball and inflatable floats with all her friends and the Beatles themselves at a local Woolworth store. They proceeded to spend the afternoon with the Beatles at the hotel pool.

The original receipient is now deceased, but I purchased the autographs from her brother. Seems like a really nice guy and he also threw in the Parlophone pressing of With the Beatles he bought in 1963.

A picture can be found below. I plan on getting everything matted and framed together by our friends at Museum Framing in Alexandria VA, which is conveniently just a few miles from me.

Wow,looks great Tommy!Great frame, the matting and frame perfectly match the color tone of the pic, set, and program.Nice descriptin plaque too! Congrats!!

Thanks Paul!

picture was taken at the same hotel pool where the autographs were obtained (the program wa from a concert the recipient attended days later), so I thought it gave it a nice touch.

Nice job.  Has to be a personal thing how to display as it's your wall it's hanging on and you who's going to stare and love what your hard earned cash and time got.  Enjoy!

Very well put Nate!

Do you guys think I should frame/matt it with the Playbill-sized program from the concert that the original owner attended, or an original photo or magazine from the same year (while obviously keeping  the program/letter of provenance secure)?

i did just that with one of my signed pictures.i included an actual program from the show that the sigs were obtained.it definitely adds to the history and provenance .I also had a plaque made describing the piece.let me know if u want to see a picture of it to get a good idea.

Paul - if it’s not too much trouble I would love to see a picture. Thanks so much!

Here is a few pics.this program is the same size as yours, being that this one was in color it showed real nice .The plaque is as u can see,a brief description tieing everything together ,and finally I obtained an original matching merch card to show the front.double matted with museum glass. You can do something like this,it would look great, hope this helped.

What a great display. Very helpful, thanks so much for sharing!

I would consider framing good quality color prints of the items to avoid any fading etc. Plus I'd just about never let a framer handle anything of mine.

Congratulations, lovely set of autographs and presentation.
