Hi all!

Just wanted to share with you that I just purchased this set. It comes with the original concert program and a letter of provenance from the original owner stating how she received the signatures at the Beresfold Hotel in Birchington, Kent in 1963 (during a Winter Gardens concert).

Allegedly, it was a warm summer day and she went to buy a beach ball and inflatable floats with all her friends and the Beatles themselves at a local Woolworth store. They proceeded to spend the afternoon with the Beatles at the hotel pool.

The original receipient is now deceased, but I purchased the autographs from her brother. Seems like a really nice guy and he also threw in the Parlophone pressing of With the Beatles he bought in 1963.

A picture can be found below. I plan on getting everything matted and framed together by our friends at Museum Framing in Alexandria VA, which is conveniently just a few miles from me.

Great job! It looks great. Congrats!

Very well thought out presentation, especially using the pool photo.

I'm not so keen on metallic plaques and large amounts of black mountboard but that's probably my feminine side coming out.

Great set of autographs!

I don't know re feminine Eva, maybe so. I agree, I also am not keen on those. To me, the framing is a nice presentation, but the number of items not autographed is larger, and that is what...diminutive? - and it is a rule I try not to break. The detail freak in me totally agrees with the pool photo though (it is period right?) and the logic behind it. I see the plaque as unnecessary. I would just do the autographs and pool photo, but of course, that is me, YMMV. And probably should.
