I contacted a guy last week about his phoney Elvis album. I came with a Chris Morales letter. I told him Morales was banned by eBay. The guy went ballistic and after numerous personal insults he removed the item

Come to find out he's relisted it in the middle of the night and again included the Morales letter!!!

I sent him anote telling him I reported him to eBay.

I'll keep you posted...

Good work, Don. Let's see. Morales's COAs are banned on eBay and the seller believes posting the cert makes everything right, hum.

Wonder if he'll repost the listing without the cert?  Chris Morales strikes again. We may never know how many 1000s of fake items are in people's collections with his COA. (Until they try and sell and get the bad news)

BTW, this particular Elvis signature is easy to identify as a forgery. This is a case of a person with no experience purchasing an autograph based on a piece of paper. A fool and their money are easily parted. Knowingly passing it to another fool is not the solution.

Back with an update...

Well our new friend has once again removed the item from eBay

Claimed in yet another rude response to me that it was relisted automatically

Just happened to be at 2:15 a.m. this morning

These guys sure don't like getting caught!

I thanked him for his apology (he never apologized - far from it)

I too wondered if he would relist without the Morales letter

Guess he's not that smart or perhaps devious is the right word...

Happy Trails...

good stuff Don

And I agree it's a poor forgery
