hi All,

need opinion on authenticity of this signature.

Keith Richards played Johnny Deep [Captain Jack Sparrow's] father in Pirates of the Caribbean, and this was an extremely limited lithograph with both the stars signatures. heavy stock papers / hand signed and with embossed logo in middle bottom.

Since i am not extremely familiar with Keith Richard's signature, i want to know if folks have a view point.

thanks

arvind

I dont think the Depp is genuine.  Gotten him about 3 times.  Doesnt look the one posted here.

I agree,  An authentic Depp looks like this:

Hey Brandon I see you pulled that top Depp example of my site. That is a great example of an authentic Depp!

I have only a very novice familiarity with both signatures, but I have to agree that they don't look like other authentic examples I've seen.

The other question is where did this come from?  Both signatures are perfectly signed (more thoroughly than you normally see), perfectly placed at the bottom of this lithograph.  This does not appear to be something that was signed on the street.  So was there supposedly a signing that Depp and Richards did with Disney?  If not, then that immediately makes this item more than a bit questionable.

The Depp on the Litho is no good. The person who signed that didn't even have a basic knowledge of what a Johnny Depp autograph looks like. Based on that alone you can skip buying the litho.

I don't know Richard's signature well enough to comment but, in my opinion, if one graph is bad it basically ruins the item. Plus, if the Depp is bad how likely is the Richards graph to be good?

The Richards signatures on the stones litho look nothing like the Disney print.

Nothing looks good about this at all.

I have Depp twice and Richards twice, and these aren't in the ballpark. The Richards' are both from the Stones website...
Here's alink to the Stones Licks lithograph...this is a classic RichRd's sig: http://www.newarteditions.com/jeff-koons-rolling-stones-licks-world...
