Many thanks for your post, Andy.
I’ve done the same thing, although I’ve asked if he can add a dedication for my mother-in-law, who is called Eileen.
Fingers crossed!
Hey Eric,
I do remember that Roseland show! I was at the previous night’s gig in Boston, also. In fact, 1996 was my busiest year for Bowie watching. I saw him 20 times that year, in 8 different countries.
Tempus fugit.
Aye, that or waiting in the wings.
All I had in fron't of me was a photographer and Bowie. Where were you? We must have been very close! Me too, 96/97 was the most dense. Pumpkins too.
:-)
Pretty sure I was on the front row at Roseland. That was my M.O. at most every gig I attended back then. We can’t have been too far from one another. Life’s coincidences are a funny thing, eh?
I know I was a little further back at the Avalon in Boston, as I only managed to get a ticket at the last minute, by the skin of my teeth. That was one of the most difficult Bowie gigs to gain entry to, in my personal experience.
That was the unexpected 10 Spot? Was that 97...that was the best "Fame" I have ever heard! No, that was Port Chester! 1997.
