Knowingly selling a fake signature vs. Unknowingly selling a fake signature

What do you think the percentages are?  Seeing the last couple of Mantle's and Dimaggio's on Ebay, It got me thinking how many of the bad signature are knowingly being sold by the seller?  How many were gifts or items they bought and really don't know the authenticity?  Every time we see these obviously fake items being sold, do you assume the seller knows?  Here is my guess:  90%  are being sold with the seller knowing the item is bad.  Your opinion?

I'm guessing about the same. 90% of fakes being sold are known.

I think that's conservative. I'd say more than 98% of forgeries sold are sold by parties that know they're bad.

I would say to me more like 75% know and 25% dont know only because of  the massive amounts of people that bid on the fakes that we pin point so often....the people bidding on the fakes don't help the cause either....I had a guy tell me up and down until he was blue in the face his Mantle Dimaggio piece was authentic and I knew otherwise and cursed me out...So I replied enjoy trying to sell your fake since you have no knowledge in the industry you will soon be sued or bankrupt...that did not sit with him so well....
