Hi everyone!

Just want your opinions on this autograph I sent to Beckett for a signature review and it came back as unlikely to pass. Since they don't give any info on why it would not pass, just wanted to see what you guys had to say.

Thanks!

Tania,

When a seller posts a photo like that, which is saved as so low-quality an image that you can't see the details, the likelihood that they're trying to hide something is high. They're scams the vast majority of the time. Even if they send good images and you buy it, you need to have it examined in person by either JSA or another expert.

This isn't someone who came across it at a flea market or inherited it and doesn't normally sell on eBay. This is someone who has been an active seller on eBay for years.

They're listing it on eBay at $1,500 but offered it to you at $950, a true bargain if it's legit. Why wouldn't they post better photos and try to get market value before offering it to you at a fire sale price?

Hi Steve,

They sent a couple of photos, just close ups of the signature...I'm going to pass. I offered $800 after what you had mentioned as far as pricing goes for an authentic Kobe and that's when the seller counter offered $950. I think I'll keep looking at least I know a price range.
