I changed this discussion to the category, Is this Autograph Real?

In my opinion these autographs are not genuine. Or maybe I should say that these autographs are not from Kurt Cobain or Courtney Love's hands. Who are supposed to have signed the other drumhead?

I don't know what to say. Shall I laugh or cry?

do you think it is fake?

How can you tell, since his signature was different at times?

is this a real kurt cobain autograph?

Hi there, I agree that I think these are not Kurt and Courtney autos.  The K is crazy even though he spelled his name a million different ways and there are so many of these similar drum heads on ebay, etc.

So much of the legit stuff found in reputable auctions like Heritage Auctions or Christie's for example, almost always show nirvana and kurt signings on concert posters and cd book covers.  Not that there isn't items like this out there...Who knows what they signed!

And always, if you aren't sure and don't have piece of mind with something, get another opinion.  Loads of people out there who know this stuff. Worth the investment!

Wondering if I can get an opinion on this cd sleeve with a Kurt auto with peace insignia.  Supposedly obtained Dec 14, 1993 at a Nirvana show in Oregon at a venue called the Salem Armoury. There was nirvana show there that day...

Purchased this from a dealer on eBay, however have the right to return it if not deemed authentic.

Thought i'd take a shot as like many others, looks like a number of real ones upon comparison.  I appreciate any feedback and hope to hear from you. Cheers.

IMO This is not authentic. Mike will be able to help you on it.

Good Luck!

Here is the Link. Hope it works. Thanks Mike! Dave

I've personally got Cobain's, originally sourced from his UK management company and never went near eBay to buy it, although I have seen some good ones but go for the right market price mind. Mine, I paid the correct amount in 2007 from a fully registered and legit dealer, who did a massive swap for it with the employer in 2002, who got it signed in the Offices in SOHO, London and I've also checked this out. Mine was a record company's photographer test proof print only a few were signed. One came up for sale the other year in the States, exact like mine and in UK money it sold for £5k sumthing.

I'm chuffed I've got it, but I did my homework, while at the same time I see some real horrors out there and hoping no fan buys it. Keep up the good work guys and root out the crap out there.
